At Haling Park Care Home we believe that residents should be able to make the most out of their stay each and every day. We actively encourage residents to continue doing what makes them happy.

Stimulating & Accessible Activities

We strive to create an environment where residents can enjoy meaningful and memorable experiences every day. Our Activity Coordinators plan a wide range of engaging opportunities each week, allowing residents to take part either individually or in group settings. Regular weekly clubs, such as the Book Club and Cooking Club, provide chances to share interests, learn new skills, and enjoy one another’s company.

Seasonal themes are thoughtfully incorporated into our activities, ensuring residents can celebrate and experience the changing months through creative projects, festive events, and garden-based pursuits. We value and encourage each resident’s ability to make choices and maintain independence in their daily lives.

An Engaging Activity Programme

At Haling Park Care Home, we aim to design an engaging Activity Programme that caters to a wide variety of interests, ages, and abilities. Our ever-changing programme features activities designed to suit everyone, including those with limited mobility, residents living with dementia, or individuals who require additional support with daily tasks.

Examples of the activities available include pet therapy, arts and crafts, and gardening, all thoughtfully planned to engage residents and leave them feeling happy and fulfilled. A weekly activities planner is displayed on our information board for residents to view.

Activities Programme FAQs

At Haling Park Care Home we regularly present residents with the opportunity to explore the local community. We have strong links with our local community and love to take part in events in conjunction with friends and neighbours including visiting the local garden centre.
We regularly invite Entertainers such as singers and musicians into our home, to entertain both residents and staff. Pet therapy is also offered to residents, where furry animals visit the home and enjoy being petted and fed by the residents.
We take great pride in providing activities that are both diverse and inclusive, as this allows our residents to reap the physical and mental rewards that a varied programme can provide.
